Chief Marketing Officer for Seven West Media WA, Kate Molinari commented on Seven Perth’s success.  “Seven News, Today Tonight, Sunrise and Seven News at 4 were again in 2018, the most watched news and public affairs programs in Perth.  Cricket, is underway live and free for the first time on Seven and will continue through summer with WBBL, 43 BBL matches, Tests and the Women’s One Day Internationals.  Then it’s straight into the footy action when the AFLW, AFL and WAFL are back in February and March.

There’s a feast of new entertainment in 2019 and already viewers are digging into 7Food, Seven’s new food channel (Channel 74) that launched on Saturday 1 December.  Some of the new series next year will be Between Two Worlds by the creator of Packed to the Rafters and A Place To Call Home, Bevan Lee; Ms Fisher’s Murder Mysteries with Wanted star Geraldine Hakewill and WA’s own Joel Jackson; Secret Bridesmaids Business; The Super Switch, Australia’s most daring social experiment in which six couples will put their relationships to the ultimate test; The Proposal, from the creator of The Bachelor; and the two part drama Australian Gangster.

The Real Full Monty was a massive hit in 2018 and in 2019 it will be the ladies turn in Ladies Night.  Eight celebrities will learn to love their bodies and raise awareness for women’s health.

When My Kitchen Rules returns, in a series first, perfect strangers will team up and attempt to win MKR.  There’ll also be a special series of MKR later in 2019, to celebrate its tenth birthday. Plus, we’re all looking forward to Jamie Durie joining the show when House Rules is back.

Seven is also excited to re-launch 7News.com.au, a new online home for Australia’s Number One and most trusted News and Public Affairs brand 7 News. 7News.com.au will debut in the first quarter of 2019 across desktop and mobile.

7Plus has quickly become Australia’s leading BVOD service and continues to add to its popular online inventory.

Seven Perth will continue to drive content, connection, audience and results in 2019 which is shaping up to be another big year across the screens of Seven
